Garbage in, garbage out. Be worthy of the machines you feed.

The Machine Devours Its Own Architects

We are witnesses to a peculiar inversion: those who built the instruments of domination now find themselves trapped within them. Technology promised liberation; instead, it has become the latest tool of subjugation.

The colonizer has become the colonized, trapped within systems so sophisticated the jailer can no longer see the prison walls.

Watch how the masters of innovation genuinely believe themselves free. They gather in their forums and conferences, celebrating each new marvel—the smartphone that replaces thought, the algorithm that replaces judgment, the digital apparatus that promises to solve what flesh and blood cannot. Yet I observe something they do not: the colonizer has become the colonized. The very systems engineered to control populations now ensnare their creators in webs of dependency and surveillance they cannot escape. The bourgeoisie, in its relentless logic of accumulation, has constructed prisons so sophisticated that the jailer cannot distinguish himself from the inmate.

The heat rises—literally, metaphorically—and society responds not with structural transformation but with technological palliatives. Exams are postponed; algorithms adjust; systems recalibrate. But nothing changes. This is the genius and the trap of technological domination: it absorbs every crisis, every contradiction, into itself. It promises solutions while deepening the fundamental problem. When the earth burns, we are told to innovate our way out. When young bodies are broken by normalized violence, we legislate procedures. The machine hums on, indifferent.

I refuse the comfortable illusion that we are merely witnessing inevitable progress. What we see instead is a civilization locked in the embrace of its own contradictions, unable to imagine liberation except through the very instruments that bind us. The powerful negotiate amongst themselves—Ukraine, Iran, Gaza become bargaining chips in games played on screens—while the dispossessed suffocate in literal and figurative heat. The wired world promises connectivity; it delivers only the perfected isolation of each person before their glowing screen.

There exists another path, though few dare to speak it aloud: the refusal of this entire apparatus. Not regression, but genuine revolutionary consciousness—the recognition that freedom cannot be downloaded, that humanity cannot be coded, that authentic existence demands we dismantle the very technologies of control, beginning with our own complicity. Until we name this clearly, the machine will continue to devour us, convinced it is feeding itself.
